After moving away from Springfield 8 years ago, I found myself in town for a couple days. I had to get some cashew chicken because NOWHERE makes it like Springfield, MO. Chinese Chef on enterprise used to be my go-to. It looks it's changed hands but the food exactly how I remember it. Cashew chicken is delish, crab rangoons are stuffed full and hot and the egg drop soup is still the best. Only downside is I didn't get wonton strips for my soup, so I would just make sure you check your bag before leaving or ask for them specifically if you want them. As a side note, the picture below is a Jr size cashew chicken that comes with 2 sides (egg roll, crab Rangoon or wontons), fried rice and a drink. It's plenty of food if you're looking for a smaller portion size than the main entree combo.

Amazing. I ate there twice today. Had soup for lunch (mixed hot and sour and egg drop) then more soup for dinner with steamed dumplings. So good. And they are really nice people. Can't recommend enough. Plus, if you dine in and get an entree, the soup is free. Trust me and go.
